Love the gold rimmed plates and compotes….you knew that I would….and the centerpiece bowl is a treasure! Beautiful. Every fall I forget to have my tulips planted….some year I’ll be organized. The whites are magical. A mix and match challenge….I’ve got nothin’….I think more along the lines of point/counterpoint. If I have smooth, I’m adding texture. If I have shiny, I’m adding matte…etc. Small/large….pattern/solid…and on and on. I’ll give the idea of a mix and match challenge some thought. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
Oh I just love tulips. Your table looks so relaxed and pretty.

Susan, you just keep “BESTing your BEST”!!!! I don’t see anything being a ‘challenge’ for you!@ This table is the BEST of tablescapes and the BEST of tulip florals… Can I say that you & Renaisance Man make the BEST team- his gorgeous flowers and your gorgeous place setting… such talents… xxoo
Beautiful table!! I cannot believe those darling bunnies came from Dollar Tree – wow!!
Great job – love the tulips!
Came here earlier but got interrupted mid stream.
Now, see, I would have gone totally predictable and messed up the real beauty of this one. I would have tried to make the tulips flair out symmetrically, and they wouldn’t have looked anywhere near as nice as the as the way you had them to the side like that. Plus, I wouldn’t have been savvy enough to leave out the chargers and showcase the linens.
One of the reasons that I love blog land is that I feel I’m honing a craft and learning something from other bloggers every day.
This was just beautiful. I think you could meet just about any challenge.
So, hmmm… let’s see.
How about dainty pink with rustic/earthly accessories?
Betcha can.
Debbie, I’ll take your challenge — and it’s a great one, by the way! I have an idea, but I’ll have to see how the next couple of weeks play out. We’re “on call” to leave for NC when Grandson #2 decides to make his debut. ASAP, though, you’re on! Thanks for making this fun!
I love this. You know I mix and match just about anything:) Your napkins look very similar to the ones I have from my great grandmother. Just beautiful. Those plates are so so lovely!
Beautiful tablescape! I really enjoyed the centerpiece with those languid tulips the goblet with a floating candle and the dollar store bunnies. You’ve got the eye!
I revisted the flowers and remembered them right away. I must have left a comment. I’ll go back and check. Beautiful spring in your corner!
Love your white tulips! I have pink, purple and red – I do so want white ones for next year in my garden. Love your elegant tablescape and the sweet bunny! It is fun finding cute pieces at Dollar Tree – your dishes are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
Kathy
