I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I certainly enjoyed my time with family — and seeing this bountiful centerpiece basket my Mother prepared for our table. Aren’t the colors and textures beautiful? Such a great “final memory” of Fall before turning my decorating thoughts to the Winter season.
But now I’m back home in Tennessee where the thermometer is dropping. It’s time for my tablescapes to make some seasonal changes, too …
Today I’m giving you a sneak peek at some quick changes I made to this recent Soup & Silver tablescape. Besides the obvious lighting differences, the table remained set EXACTLY the same except for the few changes I’ll show you. On Thursday, I’ll post the entire tablescape so you can see it, but today, here are the “before” Autumn tablescape details … and the “after” Winter details. (Click on the pics to enlarge if you want to see more detail.)
Simple and clever changes! But quite a change!
Very pretty tablescape 🙂
Isn’t it great how small changes can make such a big difference? Holly and some ornaments have brought you right from fall to Christmas 🙂

Pretty before and after! How cool is that?
I’ve never met a Table Magican before visiting your blog! It is Magic the way your Table transforms with a just a touch of difference here and there. I can hardly wait for the next Stage Production! Lovely photos and table settings. I’ve been inspired by your photos and have combined my Christmas Quilts with Christmas Table Settings. I’m a Newbie at the Table stuff, so your photos give me lots of ideas. Thanks!
Wow, such small changes with big impact. Beautiful:)
Lovely, simple changes … moving from Thanksgiving and Autumn to Winter and Christmas. Well done!
Your dishes are lovely and the arrangements devine.

This is exactly why I think every one on the planet should own a set of white dishes and silver and gold chargers. I LOVE your changes and I love doing the same thing with my white dishes. 🙂
I love those blue changes.
Happy Blue Monday, Susan.
Wow I’m always amazed at the skill you ladies have when it comes to setting a table. I love both versions!
Thanks for visiting me today and your humorous comment about my equilateral triangles! Welcome back anytime. 🙂

Your tablescapes are all lovely. I don’t know how you do it. Just wanted to stop and say hi. Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. I’m busy crafting for a Christmas market this weekend.
