The Notecard Party: Practicing the Discipline of GRATITUDE

It’s mid-January and time for another Notecard Party at A Haven for Vee. I always enjoy seeing what’s on participants’ minds every month. Are they looking back … or ahead? Are they hungry … or working on a project? You never know what kinds of notecards you’ll see! And I never know what kind I’ll share!

This month, it’s gratitude that’s on my mind.

I so enjoyed having Renaissance Man home during the holidays! Even though he traveled a lot in December, it’s been really nice having him around. So when he left this week on his first trip of 2014, I didn’t want to miss thanking God for my husband – and my husband for being such a wonderful, faithful spouse.

These inspiration boards all have an earthy, manly feel to them. I thought they might make interesting notecards – even though square cards require additional postage!

If you’re blessed with a really good man like I am, have you thanked him lately?

What are you grateful for these days?

By the way… If you’re feeling loved today and want to pass on a little love to someone else,

HERE‘s an easy way to do it!

Pillowcase 1

  1. First, let me say that I’m glad you posted the pillowcase link because I had missed it on here and on Kelley Highway.

Second, I love your notecards. I am like you in that I am so very, very grateful for the wonderful man God gave me. He rocks..

  2. I love all the rich color in your notecards. That makes them themed as well as relating to color and being collages. Thanks for the gratitude reminder, I can always use it.

  3. Hi Susan,

Your beautifully styled and photographed note cards are, indeed, a statement of gratitude in themselves. It’s inspiring to read about the respect and admiration that spouses have for each other, and you’re collection of collages, with their rich hues and textures, are a testament to this blessing.

    Thanks for sharing.

  4. What beautiful note cards of gratitude, and a wonderful reminder to thank our spouses. I hope I thanked my beloved enough, for he passed away this past August. I certainly am grateful for all that he did for our family and for being a faithful partner for 43 years.

  5. Lovely shots for a note card set! Gratitude is something I am always striving for…some days it is hit or miss, but if I start my day with a prayer full of thanks- I am more aware of what I need to be grateful for all day long. Hubs gets top billing on the list!

  6. Yes, very male friendly tablescapes and cards. I am always looking for cards appropriate for men so I think these are wonderful.

  7. Your collage notecards are truly beautiful. Loved seeing them.

  8. Your collage note cards are so pretty and unusual and the theme of gratitude is wonderful. I really like your Christmas dishes.
Thanks for stopping by and your nice comment.

  9. I love your mosaic notecards! They are all gorgeous and so rich in colour. Beautifully done! Blessings, Pamela
