Autumn Tablescape Inspiration Board

This week while in California preparing for Friday night’s big event, I’ve put together an Autumn tablescape inspiration board for you.  It includes many of my favorite Fall-season decorating elements …

Autumn Masterpiece

Some day perhaps I’ll really do this table, but if you’d like, you can see each of these in their original tablescapes …

Personally, I love inspiration boards!  But how about you? Do inspiration boards INSPIRE you?
Do you enjoy them — or do you really just prefer to see a “real” tablescape? Please … be honest. I’d really like to know!

Thanks to all of you who are praying for us this week! Thursday and Friday are going to be lonnnng days of work culminating in what I pray is a very successful event on behalf of the children of Hope Unlimited.

I’m joining the party at Between Naps on the Porch.
It’s Tablescape Thursday!

  1. Hi Susan, I like inspiration boards but I love the tablescapes even better. I guess I’m spoiled, I want to see all of the details especially with your sense of style. These goblets are gorgeous.
    Always great to visit.
    Blessings.

  2. What a great mood board!!

  3. Oh, inspiration boards really DO inspire me. I loved that whole series that you did on different inspirations for tables.

When you come home from God’s big VICTORY this weekend, I would love you to put together a table from this inspiration.

You are COVERED. I will be waiting and hope you blog the big event.

  4. I pray that our loving God will pour His favor on you all this week. I pray that in the midst of the overwhelming tasks that loom in front of you, you will be covered with His peace. I might use an inspiration board as a resource to go look for a new pattern, but day in day out, I adore the ‘real’ tablescapes. It’s why I have that stack of Carolyne Roehm books on my coffee table. I’m so excited to see the pics from your marvelous event! Cherry Kay

  5. Beautiful china!

  6. So pretty! I do love the inspiration boards. They do just that, inspire!

  7. I like both. I love seeing other people’s ideas. Your china is beautiful. I pray your week and your event are fruitful!!

  8. Hey there, Susan! I’m an inspiration board person. In my little studio I don’t put together a board, but I have a staging area so that – like an inspiration board – I can look at it repeatedly, change out pieces on a whim, and eventually build the foundation for a tablescape. It works for me!!! Best to you…it’s Sunday night, so I’m really late getting around to everyone’s post. I know you did GREAT over the weekend! I’ll check back!
