Picnik: Taking on Vintage Linens & Dishes

To everyone who has already placed a bid (or two -- or seven!) at my Vintage Linen & Dish Auction ...a BIG thank you!   For this week's Metamorphosis Monday, I thought I'd give you a quick look at the evolution of my Auction blog button.      When I was looking for an Auction button picture, I wanted one that showed vintage linens and dishes -- and little else. This is the one I chose.   It was one I took for a tablescape I did last Fall, in honor of my Mother's birthday. Pleasantly Pink

Earlier this week, while in New Jersey visiting my older daughter, I came across the most delightful sight. Set on a hill in the middle of a pleasant residential neighborhood of older homes sat this pale pink beauty ... The softness of the pink would have been lost and felt "washed out" were it not for the brilliant pink flowers. They were definitely head-turners ... prime circle-the-block-and-pull-out-the-camera candidates for Pink Saturday. Don't you agree? The Decision of the Flower: He Loves Me… He Loves Me Not
