Hello all! It’s the end of a long week, and we’re sitting in the Sao Paulo airport. Hopefully we’ll fly home tonight, but we’re going stand-by, so that remains to be seen.
I have so much more to share with you about our trip to Brazil, but tonight my tired mind is ready to be home. I’ve got to do some of this …
Laundry drying on the line in a hot climate looks nice.
And once again I had to catch up before I could comment. I tried not to let my daughter being home whisk me away from the computer too much, but it did. I have gotten caught up now, and I just read about the prisons. To me, just the fact that there is such a thing as a juvenile offender in this world is heartbreaking. The conditions of prisons add to the heart break.
You mentioned one event that you haven’t told us about yet. I’m anxious to read about it and have the time to do so too.
Hoping that you are either safely home or well on the way.
We listened to a favorite missionary of mine at church yesterday. I’m full to the brim with a missional mindset and heart and trying very hard to quietly listen for exactly what God wants me to do right now.
I’m glad you’ve been enjoying your daughter! Can’t wait to share more stories with you … and praying God will speak “loud and clear” as you listen quietly.
I hope that by now you are home safe and sound. You put in a grueling week, and I applaud your intensity and stick-to-it-tiveness!
Ugh…looking at the laundry hanging on the line reminds me of when I was a little girl before we got a dryer. My Mom would make me help the laundry lady. This was one of my LEAST favorite jobs as I was not (and still am not!) much of an outdoor kind of girl. My Mom commented just the other day how she misses the smell of laundry brought in fresh from the line. I just looked at her all crazy! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Welcome back!
LOL Sorry to bring up a bad memory, Alycia! I’m not much of an outdoor gal either, but there’s something about laundry hanging on the line that makes me want to photograph it.
