Looking for Springtime tablescape inspiration — and finding it!

Anyone besides me getting stir crazy?

Today the Country Girl side of me kicked in, and I stole Renaissance Man away from the office long enough to take a quick drive out to the farm where we’re (still) planning to build a new-to-look-old farmhouse. Someday… this will be our snowy-day view from the porch.

This farm is only about a 10-minute drive from the century-old house we renovated—and currently live in—but the minute I step onto the property, it’s like stepping into an entirely new world.

My spirit calms… and time stands still.

I’ll have to remember this flat rock come Springtime. It’s the perfect place for a tablescape, don’t you think?

It reminds me of this tablescape challenge from days gone by…

The weather man says several more inches of snow on the way tonight, so I’m thankful for today’s field trip and thoughts of Spring!

What are YOU doing these days?

If you, too, are stuck inside and running out of ideas, how about these?

1) Speak Love to the girls at Hope Unlimited for Children. (You still have until April 1 to send Valentines for their Day of Love party this Summer!) Thank you to all of you who already have!

2) Dig out those old family linens and get the stains out. Springtime is the perfect time to use pretty white linens in your decorating and tablescaping, so why not start getting those beauties back into circulation? It’s easier than you think!

  1. Susan, what a view! I know you must be excited. You must remember this because it is the perfect place for a tablescape. We have snow on the ground, and are expecting more tonight. Just waiting to see how much. lol
