Easter’s on its way…

Two and a half weeks until Easter

I don’t know your plans, but Renaissance Man and I are looking forward to having far-away family not so far away for a change! Even though my days between now and then are cram-packed busy, the recent Lenten Roses blooming in the garden helped me start getting in the mood for Easter.

It seemed the perfect time to trade out the casual Winter tablescape for something a little more Spring-like. Lace and flowers and bird nests. Simple—and purple. And chippy paint.

It lifted my spirits. I hope it lifts yours, too!

  1. Susan, you always lift my spirits.♥ And, your Spring change is so pretty. That cross you shared is stunning.

I am so ready for Spring this year – as I am sure we all are. Our daffodils bloomed this week, and they are a giver of smiles. It is a glorious time for rebirth and renewal.

    • Thank you, Beverly. So glad your daffodils arrived! Mostly we’re still waiting although I did see a lone daffodil among the emerging tulip leaves… Come on Spring!

    • Susan, I love your tablescape! I have a lace tablecloth left to me by my mother, and nothing is quite as elegant as lace, to me. I love your use of flowers from your garden and the combination of bunnies and religious symbols. Happy Easter!

  2. Very pretty and inspiring

  3. Such beauty here, Susan! I too often skimp on home decor, but when I see such pretty things like this, it makes me want to drag some stuff out to look at. 🙂

    • LOL Drag it out, Lisa! I finally learned (for me) there’s no reason to have things if I’m not going to use them. Now I either enjoy—or pass them on. (You wouldn’t believe how much stuff I passed on at a recent church yard sale… and it felt great!)

  4. Oh, you are so smart! I am trying my best to decided what to use on my Easter table and, now, remind me that the clock is ticking – yikes!! Your table is beautiful and I adore those salad plates with the purple on them. Just this morning, I was searching on eBay for some similar ones. Hope you Easter is wonderful!!

  5. Your table is so lovely. Love the napkin color and your beautiful plates. Your mirror makes a great base for the centerpiece. The cross is beautiful. Have a great weekend. Valerie
