Peppermint Parade: A Christmas Theme

Peppermints. They’re available year-round, but they steal the show at Christmas!

From candy canes and ribbons to candles and gift wrap, the cheerful striped candies manage to stay front-and-center all season long – super easy to find!  If you need a last-minute theme that will kick up the festivity level without breaking the bank, try this one:  Peppermint Parade

Add a few touches of red and white (or red, white, and green) to your usual decor… and put your party invites in the mail!  Just be sure they have peppermint on them. 🙂

Peppermint Christmas

More peppermint touches you can add:

  • Peppermint bark candy
  • Packages wrapped in peppermint-patterned papers (or red and white)
  • Candy cane crafts for the kids
  • Peppermint-scented hand soap
  • What other peppermint-themed ideas have you seen – or used?

If you’re “sweet” on peppermint, you might like this tablescape. 1. Susan, I am enjoying your posts on Christmas themes! I think I have Peppermint Parade going on around here, especially on the baker’s rack and my entry table. Still haven’t found my seasonal favorite ice cream — Haagen Dazs Peppermint Bark. Probably the Hand of the Lord, though!

  2. Your theme posts are great, Susan!

  3. Susan – I was so thrilled to see your Peppermint Parade. Thanks you for pointing me to it. What fun!!

  4. Thank you for sharing. I have used this theme many times in the last four decades. I have a huge box of my ribbon candy and peppermint stuff somewhere. The problem with to much stuff is more often than not the question around here becomes “where is that stuff!!!”
