Peace on Earth: A Christmas Theme

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.

Peace on Earth

It’s an age-old Christmas theme… and an age-old hope.

White doves and brightly-colored globes are common theme elements.

I prefer a softer feel.  Something more peaceful…

  • Black and white – and silver
  • Clear glass
  • Feathery doves
  • Round, globe-like ornaments
  • Textural diversity

Something like this…

peace

If you want to make peace with your enemy, you have to work with your enemy. Then he becomes your partner.

Nelson Mandela

May you discover the source of peace this Christmas season…

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  (Isaiah 9:6)

All Themes of Christmas posts are available HERE.

I’ll be sharing this one at Pink Saturday @ How Sweet the Sound where all December posts are “holiday” or “pink”.
