Mackinac Island Fourth of July Notecards

It’s time for another Notecard Party at A Haven for Vee.  I love this party!

Since the Fourth of July will be here soon, this flag-waving blogger wants to share some favorite pics from last Summer’s trip to Mackinac Island. It was hard to choose, but I limited myself to the Stars & Stripes — and beautiful blues. This visual reminder of sacrifice and freedoms … I think it’s beautiful!

Have you made any Fourth of July plans this year?

  1. Oh, I bet that was a grand trip! Would you look at that beautiful old home! And it would be quite lovely to stay at the Grand Hotel.

  2. All gorgeous pics! My favorite is the last one, love the flag and water:@)

  3. Beautiful, crisp and clear, a wonderful celebration of Red, White, and Blue. (I looked at your survey…interesting…what are you doing with all that information?)

  4. The note cards are all pretty and the white house has such character.

  5. Beautiful!

I went to a bible college in Michigan and never went to Mackinac Island! It is beautiful! Your photos are amazing! LOVE the red boat, especially!

  6. Your photos and the scenes are lovely.

  7. I love seeing the flag waving with the water in the background. I have a blog buddy that lives there now and she has sent me some postcards. It’s a beautiful place and these would make wonderful note cards! I’m so glad you shared them!

  8. I’d love to visit Mackinac Island! These pictures are beautiful!

  9. What a beautiful place. Canada celebrates on the 1st of July and we haven’t made any plans yet. Your photos would make lovely note cards with a patriotic theme.

  10. What beautiful photographs…they looked so familiar to me before I read about where they were taken. My husband and I spent a week there quite a few years ago. It is truly an amazing place and the best part about the island is there are no cars…just the horse and buggy’s to get around. Thank you for sharing these gorgeous photos of this beautiful little piece of heaven and thanks for the memories.

  11. Yes, your boat picture is quite similar to mine. So pretty! I think my favorite picture is the one of the big house. I love all the interesting windows.

  12. I’ve never been to Mackinac Island, looks like a beautiful place to visit! Your photos are so pretty and would make delightful note cards. And, I’d love to see the inside of the house!

  13. Love Machinac Island….so beautiful and very patriotic!

  14. These are just beautiful…thanks for a mini vacation with my eyes. Oh I missed the party again…I need to slow down.
