Tablescape: Inspired by Caramel & Cream …

This week I added the tiniest hint of Fall to my indoor decor.  My little vignette started with the beautiful old linen table square … because I was inspired by the Caramel & Cream inspiration board I showed you last week.

I also promised you an “inspired” tablescape …
The cream and muted caramel pottery centerpiece bowl was my anchor.  It’s a favorite piece to decorate with at this time of year.
Obviously, the inspiration board dictated that I include pears …
A variety of candle colors … berries from the yard … and a “Made in Brazil” bird sculpture.  Do you like seeing the delicate vintage linen tray cloth peeking over the edge as much as I do?
Caramel-colored wooden leaf napkin rings and vintage damask napkins … and cream-colored “Italian Countryside” plates by Mikasa.
The runner is a vintage damask tablecloth … folded and laid atop a caramel-colored linen cloth.
Oneida “Raphael” flatware …
Tucking a few whole walnuts and almonds onto the tray gives more texture … and more “caramel and cream.”
So now you’ve seen my Caramel & Cream.

What would you name a Fall inspiration board?

  9. I recently found new dishes that I purchased at Marshals and they would look lovely with this color theme. These are gorgeous colors aren’t they? Sometimes I could just drink in and play in color! I enjoy making little cards where I can play with the color combinations. I had never thought of these colors but they are so elegant.
