Two Faces of Beautiful

Welcome to My Place to Yours! I’m glad you stopped by for a quick celebration of Metamorphosis Monday.

This was My Place four months ago …

And this is My Place today …

The dogwoods are in full bloom here in East Tennessee … and they’re beautiful against the blue sky. Yes, it was really that blue. These are unedited pics!

We have five of these gorgeous trees in our yard.

All of them have white flowers.

Their lace-like appearance in the landscape is one of my favorite things about Springtime.<

Do you have dogwoods where you live? Are they white like mine — or pink?

Leave a comment and tell me!

I hope you have a wonderful week!

  1. Oh, we still have some snow on the ground here in New Hampshire! 🙁 A little bit of the grass is starting to turn green, though. It’s supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow, I can’t wait!!!

  2. Beautiful! It’s still chilly and stormy here in Northwestern Washington…but maybe we’ll have a sunny day soon!

  3. Love it!! I captured some similar skies behind some pink dogwoods recently. It nearly knocked me out when I uploaded them.

I think God particularly loves dogwooods. What do you think? Grin.

  4. I don’t think there are any dogwoods around here; it’s probably too much sun for them.

    Happy Blue Monday, Susan!

Be sure to check out my book giveaway.

  5. Love your home…..we still have winter weather up here in The Great White North.
I’m now a follower of yours, I really like your blog. Lots of good things…:-)

    HAPPY BLUE MONDAY!!!!!

  6. Just gorgeous! I adore dogwoods and really wish they would grow in this part of Texas. I guess dogwoods are your reward for giving up bluebonnets!

  7. Oh, your home and gardens are beautiful! Glad spring is treating you right. We are still getting snow here in Central Oregon.

    Happy Blue Monday,

    Kathy M.

  8. Susan, this is incredibly gorgeous!

  12. Those pictures are just beautiful. I wish I had a dogwood tree.

  13. Just love how the seasons change…here in MI we are still waiting for green grass and flowers..spring takes so long to come
